Oakridge Accounting Services was founded by Genaro Romero, CPA, a Phoenix-based accounting professional with over six years of hands-on experience and more than three years leading accounting teams at the manager level.
Genaro's career has been built on a simple principle: financial reporting should be accurate, on time, and easy to understand — every time. That standard is the foundation of every client relationship at Oakridge.
Our Founder's Background
Genaro currently serves as an Accounting Manager at a public accounting firm in the Phoenix metro area, where he oversees month-end and year-end close processes, manages account reconciliations, and delivers accurate financial statements — including income statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis — for a range of clients. He has led the training and mentoring of new team members, guided the transition to new accounting software, and consistently identified opportunities to automate and streamline financial operations.
Earlier in his career, Genaro worked as an Accounting Technician for a Phoenix-based company, where he built his foundation in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accurate, fast-paced data entry — skills that still shape how efficiently his team operates today.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Western Governors University, and has been a licensed CPA since 2022.

Genaro brings hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting platforms, including NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and Sage 50.
